The neon colours are fun, they are engaging and are quick to draw people’s attention. In 2017, from streetwear to high end designer brands, neon was the popular choice of colour theme to bring an accent to the catwalk collections.
Going back to Spring/Summer 17 season, Palace showed an orange neon coloured ‘PIPE’ long sleeve top which was highly coveted by the Palace fans. Other items including hoodies, t-shirts and caps were also available in neon colours at Palace for its SS17 drop.
Alexander Wang showed a green neon coloured beach wear outfits as part of his minimal SS17 ready to wear collection. Wang also used the neon colours for making accessories for this collection which looked absolutely desirable.
For the Autumn/Winter 17 season, creative director Demna Gvasalia for Vetements showed an orange neon coloured ‘PETS’ hoodie looking lush and a definite stand out from the rest of the collection. There’s always an element of neon at Vetements and the brand never fails to surprise us.
Supreme also has used neon colours for the box logo hoodies for AW17 collection which are now in store.
