London born designer Sadie Williams graduated from the Central Saint Martin MA Fashion course in 2013. She then went on to be awarded the Selfridges ‘Bright Young Things’ where she was part of a window display that season and her collection sold in the pop-up boutique. She was also included in the ‘Designs of The Year Exhibition 2014′ at The Design Museum in Kensington, London.
Williams has worked for several designers such as Marc Jacobs and JW Anderson to say the least. Williams has also taken on many projects such as designing a collection for & Other Stories. In AW15 she received the New Gen sponsorship to support her own label ‘Sadie Williams’ and now presents a collection each season at London Fashion Week.
Creating modern textiles juxtaposed with modern craft, the born and bred Londoner Sadie Williams creates her signature look by combining the Japanese bikers inspired sportswear with elegant femininity. Williams’ uses of metallic in geographic details brings glitz and dazzle to her collections. In 2017, she was awarded a place on ‘Swarovski Collective 2017′ and for her AW17 collection, she incorporated the Swarovski crystals as crystal fine rock transfers, crystal motifs, patches of crystal fabric into her pieces leaving a lasting dazzling impression on those at her collection presentation.
